Reiki Practice Day
Open to all students and Alumni of Rainforest Reiki
This October 2025, experience a revitalising Reiki Practice Day in the rainforest above Cairns. This is for anyone who has taken a Japanese reiki course at Rainforest Reiki—whether you’re Level 1 Shoden, Level 2 Okuden, or Level 3 Shinpiden.
Reconnect with Your Practice
Reiki is an experiential practice that deepens through regular hands-on experience. This day is the perfect opportunity to reignite your practice, refine your technique, and connect with the healing energy you may have forgotten in the busyness of daily life.
Especially valuable for Shinpiden graduates preparing to teach—gain confidence and practical experience giving reiju attunements in a supportive environment.
What We’ll Practice
- Precepts (Gokai) — Foundation that underpins the Japanese Reiki system
- Meditations (Kokyû Hô) — Traditional breathing and energy awareness
- Hands-on-Healing (Tenohira) — Palm healing: self-treatment and partner work
- Mantras and Symbols (Jumon and Shirushi) — Deepening your connection to sacred symbols and mantras
- Attunement (Reiju) — Teachers-in-training practice giving reiju; all students receive
