Meditation retreats combine the elements of Japanese Reiki, mindfulness meditation, and gentle yoga. So whether you’re an experienced practitioner, or curious about building your own meditation practice, these retreats give you the time and space to free your mind and away from your regular routines.

On retreat you’ll enjoy a selection of vegetarian, vegan and raw food treats. Julie specialises in raw food desserts and prepares a lot of the meals herself.

We will be together for several days and nights practising Japanese esoteric meditations as a group. A gentle yoga class is included each morning and there is plenty of downtime to swim or enjoy the venue gardens and nature.
– All meals
– Accommodation (prices vary according to preferences.
– Yin or Gentle yoga sessions (9am-10.15am) each morning.
– Meditation sessions (10.15am-11.30am) and (2.30pm-5pm) each day. Meditations are semi-guided and include chanting, walking and moving meditations.
– Healing reiki swap sessions (with a partner)
– Guided Self-reiki sessions
All sessions are conducted by Julie Heskins, a qualified Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, and Yoga instructor from Cairns.
Delicious vegetarian and vegan meals are included in the cost of the retreat. Please advise Julie in advance if you have other dietary requirements.
Absolutely. Beginners are very welcome and you’ll find the gentle yoga sessions easy and restorative. Julie is an experienced Reiki Master and meditation teacher and works with people with all levels of experience.

For the safety of all our guests, facilitators, and staff, we only host retreats with venues that maintain proper COVID19 controls. For this reason we can only group couples and friends in shared rooms. Please talk to Julie about your accommodation options if you are attending the retreat as a single.
