Need a kind and reliable pet sitter for your beloved furbaby or winged friends? Since 2012, Julie Heskins has been caring for pets in their own homes, while their owners are away.
Dogs and cats (as well as birds, fish, rabbits and guinea pigs) can become extremely distressed when they are separated from their owners and Julie is available to stay in your home (Cairns, Tablelands, Cassowary Coast) to provide companionship and loving care.
Julie has a natural affinity with animals and you will be pleasantly surprised by how quickly your pets align with her calm energy and gentle nature.
Housesitting Services: Even if you don’t have pets, Julie is available for housesitting too. Your home is much safer from burglary, vandalism, and weather damage when someone is in the house turning on/off lights, clearing mail, opening and closing windows, playing TV and music, and generally giving the place that ‘lived-in’ look.
Service inclusions:
During your time away from home, Julie can help with:
- Pet companionship, games, and walking.
- Pet feeding and medications.
- Cleaning pet cages and sleeping areas.
- Basic pet grooming.
- Watering household and outdoor plants.
- Sending updates and photos of pets so you’ll be reassured your loved one is safe while you‘re away.
- Basic pool maintenance (eg, keeping pool filter empty of leaves).
- Animal Reiki treatments (extra charge)
Fees (in Australian dollars)
- Daily — $30 per day (housesitting only), $40 per day (1 pet), $50-60 (2 or more pets).
- Weekly — $200 per week (housesitting only), $250 per week (pet sitting).
