How It Works
If you cannot attend a scheduled intake in Cairns for Reiki 1 Shoden, Reiki 2 Okuden, or Reiki 3 Shinpiden, you can book the full certificate training for private delivery:
One-on-One Training: Complete your course with my complete undivided instruction and guidance.
Private Group Courses: Gather your own small circle of family or friends to complete the formal certificate course together in your shared space.
I travel directly to you in the greater Cairns region (Atherton tablelands, Mossman, Mission Beach), bringing all necessary manuals and training materials to facilitate the complete course from start to finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a completely silent or “perfect” home?
Not at all. A common worry is that a home is too busy or lacks the right atmosphere. Traditional Japanese Reiki is a practical tool designed for real, everyday life. I bring everything needed to set up a calm, professional, and comfortable learning environment.
Is this the same qualification as the studio courses?
Yes. These are my formal certificate courses, not casual classes or shortened workshops. You receive the exact same traditional Japanese attunements, comprehensive manuals, and official certification upon completion.
Which courses can be taught at home?
I offer all levels of the traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho lineage for in-home delivery, including Reiki 1 (Shoden) and Reiki 2 (Okuden).
Can we do the course in a holiday rental or Airbnb?
Yes, absolutely. If you are travelling into the Cairns region, or if your own home is currently undergoing renovations, a holiday rental is a fantastic alternative. As long as the host allows visitors and there is a comfortable, private living area where we won’t be interrupted, it works beautifully.
What about doing the training at a community hall or local venue?
Yes. If you are organising a private group course for a few people and prefer not to use a home, you are welcome to hire a local community room, club hall, or studio space in the Cairns area.
What makes a space “suitable” for the course?
You don’t need a professional clinic setup, but to ensure you get the most out of your training, the space just needs to meet a few simple criteria:
- Privacy: A distinct room or area where we will not have people walking through or interrupting the training segments and traditional attunements.
- Comfortable Seating: A space with enough comfortable chairs for us to sit during the theory and meditation components.
- Floor Space: Enough room for Julie to set up a standard professional treatment table for the hands-on practical components.
