Rainforest Reiki is a 10-15 drive from the Cairns CBD, and the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. During your stay you can learn reiki and meditation with Julie, enjoy a reiki treatment, take a private yoga session — or simply read your book in the hammock. It’s your holiday.
You’ll be staying in a spacious bedroom (1 x available) overlooking the private rainforest garden, with a comfy queen-size bed, fast WIFI — and access to the shared bathroom. Each room is separated from the main living area by heavy curtains.
Outside relax on the large wooden verandah — there are a number of quiet spaces (with a hammock, sun lounger, day bed and chairs) where you can tuck yourself away for quiet time, reflection, and self care. The garden itself has pockets of natural forest as well as big comforting trees. You’ll encounter loads of native birds, and some of the most beautiful butterflies in the world.
Prices start at AUD $99 per night (minimum of 2 nights) or $120 for one night. Cost includes a private room, shared bathroom, continental breakfast and fibre-optic WIFI.

Julie’s place is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing space. The backyard is really quite incredible. The house is surrounded by trees and has a decent chunk of real forest right within the backyard. If you are looking for somewhere to unwind, doze off in the hammock, read a book or do yoga or meditation this just the spot. Fantastic hospitality, excellent local tips, clean and welcoming. Julie went above and beyond, dropping me off in town a couple of times and also giving me my first yoga lesson.

Loved our stay at the beautiful Rainforest abode. The rainforest is right on your doorstep with birdsong day and night. Very well decorated suited our tastes and really relaxing. We were really lucky and got the place to ourselves over the 4 nights even though it would have been a pleasure to meet the host Julie. Would highly recommend, a stay has everything that you need.

Rainforest Reiki is such a beautiful, peaceful place where we loved staying. Julie was such a welcoming, friendly person who couldn’t do enough for us. She took us to Palm Cove, collected us from and took us to the airport. We both felt so much at home. I loved having some Reiki and meditation with Julie. Sitting on the balcony watching the rain fall on the gorgeous rainforest garden was magnificent. So was lying in bed listening to the rain on the roof. Thanks Julie for a wonderful holiday in Cairns.
